So we have officially started house/car hunting! Trying not to rush it, but then again we're getting cabin fever-only so much you can do in a hotel room. We do go to the play room everyday and we even tried the playground the other day; but the humidity is killer! We're still trying to get used to it.
I used to be able to about 2-3 days without washing my hair (don't judge, it's good for your hair!), but now, not so much. Back home I'd use this awesome homemade "dry shampoo" which I'm afraid isn't gonna cut it for me here :/ I absolutely loved this stuff though because not only is it cheap to make and not full of chemicals, but there's nothing like washing your hair and it start smelling like brownies in the shower :) yuuuum...It's super easy to make too! Just mix about 1 tbsp plain, cocoa powder with 1 tbsp corn starch and keep adding cocoa powder until you reach a color that won't look too obvious in your hair. Here's how mine looks:
So, house hunting. We've started looking at houses and so far so good. The hard part is trying to look around at houses with the kids, but the agents have been so kind whenever they do start acting crazy (they are in Lukas-ugh, this kid is cray). We also viewed an "American" style home but we didn't really care for it, so looks like we'll be aiming for a more traditional home...but for now, the search continues!
